BOO!! Spooky season is just around the corner. Do you have a costume idea yet?

With the World Cup occurring right NOW, you have to check out the blog below for some fun soccer themed costume ideas for you or your kids:

1. Soccer Ball

Kick the Halloween season off right dressing up as a soccer ball! There are so many different variations you can choose from such as a classic black and white ball, the US world cup ball, or maybe even a Soccer Buddies themed ball. This can be an easy DIY project that is under $10.

2. Soccer Player

Who doesn’t like repping their favorite soccer player? Represent USA by dressing up as one of the national team players! Some players you can choose from are Alex Morgan, Julie Ertz, Christian Pulisic, or Weston McKennie. Don’t want to represent USA? Dress up as some of the most famous players in the world such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marta, or Christine Sinclair. All you need for this DIY costume is a t-shirt that you can design, a pair of soccer shorts, and a pair of soccer socks. If you want to get fancy you can add in a sweat band, eye black stickers, or pre-wrap for a headband!

3. Referee

Are you looking for a reason to blow a whistle on Halloween? Make some good (or maybe a few bad) calls while you watch soccer this Halloween season. Parents if your are looking for a costume you can add in a twist and dress up as a blind referee! All you need for this DIY costume is a referee shirt, pants/shorts, a whistle, color cards/flags, and black shoes.

If you use any of these ideas this Halloween, we would LOVE if you shared them with us! Snap a cute photo and feel free to tag us in a post on Instagram or send us a quick DM. We would love to share it with our Soccer Buddies family.
